BASS PLAYER AND MASTURBATOR EXTRORDINAIRE, IAN BANAS SHOCKED THE WORLD WITH HIS "SCRIMP", WAVED GOODBYE TO US WITH HIS "HOG", AND STILL FOUND TIME TO DO HIS "HOME WORK".

In all seriousness, Ian was one of my best friends. We first met up back in '96 while I was still in eighth grade. We formed TARR, our first band, which was quite a learning experience. Ian and I rejoined forces in 1998 to round out DEAD KELLY's line up. As a creative force, Ian was unstoppable. He always thought of new ways to make the live shows more exciting. For example, Ian was fond of using a wireless system so that he could mingle in the crowd while the band played on stage. He also brought a unique, funk-style bass playing into the mix. No one could argue that his musicianship contributed greatly to the band's sound. These days, Ian is hoping to go to school to become a recording engineer.
